These items are restricted by law or under Country Logistics Ltd’s Terms and Conditions of Carriage. This list is not exhaustive and may be reviewed or updated at any time. Shipping any prohibited item constitutes a material violation of Country Logistics Ltd’s terms, and the company accepts no responsibility or liability for the loss of or damage to such items.
Domestic Shipping Prohibited Items
The following items cannot be shipped under any circumstances:
High-Risk and Valuable Items
- Currency in any form (banknotes, coins, money orders, traveler's cheques)
- Loose gemstones (precious or semi-precious), unprocessed gold, or similar raw valuables
- Forged documents, counterfeit money, or fake financial instruments
- Illegal narcotics and controlled substances (including cannabis products, marijuana, CBD oils, cocaine, methamphetamine, tramadol, and other illicit stimulants, depressants, or hallucinogens)
Hazardous and Dangerous Goods
- Flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials (e.g., petrol, gases in cylinders, acids, dry ice, fireworks, or any substances classified as hazardous)
- Weapons and related items (firearms, ammunition, replicas, air guns, tasers, knives with blades over permitted limits, or any explosive devices)
- Poisons, toxic chemicals, or infectious biological materials
Perishables and Organic Materials
- Fresh or perishable food items that require refrigeration or special handling (e.g., fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, or cooked meals prone to spoilage)
- Live animals, birds, insects, reptiles, or any living creatures
- Human remains, ashes, or bodily tissues/fluids
- Animal parts, trophies, hides, skins, or unprocessed wildlife products (e.g., ivory, pangolin scales, shark fins)
Other Restricted or Banned Categories
- Clinical or medical waste samples (e.g., blood, tissues, or diagnostic specimens)
- Any goods that violate Nigerian laws or pose risks to handlers, vehicles, or other shipments
Note: Attempting to ship any of these items may result in seizure, legal consequences, or no liability from the logistics provider for loss/damage. For certain regulated items (e.g., pharmaceuticals, alcohol in bulk, tobacco, or drones), special permits and approvals may be required—contact customer support before shipping. Always declare contents accurately to avoid issues.
